Joel Barbeito

“I have been testing Gonzalez Reeds for over 20 years. I believe, nowadays, they don’t have to envy other brands. I remember when it was Zonda only and visited for the first time the factory and I was able to try the reeds for alto and tenor in all the models during that time; I will never forget that visit, the tour in each work area and the posibility of testing in the same place. I went by all the Gonzalez lines, the search of the sound is an endless process. I tried the Regular Cut, and the Classic reeds; the ones I used the most was the Jazz Local 627. But recently I tried the Malbec and they gave me the sensation of being more even, stable, durable and, in this moment of search, are the ones that without a doubt I am using in all my instruments”.
